Coggins Binder does not collect or transmit horse records, document images, names, registration numbers, notes, or exact horse and document dates entered by the user. If you explicitly opt in, the app sends anonymous usage and diagnostic data to Firebase to help improve reliability and usability.
Horse names and profile details, entered document text and numbers, expiration dates, notes, and images selected through the system Photos picker are stored locally on your iPhone. They are not transmitted to the developer or an external server.
When you create a Travel Packet, the PDF is generated locally on your device. Data leaves the app only when you choose a destination through the standard iOS share sheet. The privacy practices of that destination are governed by its provider.
Expiration reminders are scheduled locally through Apple’s notification system. The app does not send notification content to the developer.
Pro purchases are processed by Apple’s StoreKit. Apple handles payment and transaction information; the app and developer do not receive your payment details.
Anonymous analytics and crash reporting are off by default. The app asks before enabling them, and you can change your choice at any time under Settings > Privacy.
The included Firebase support components may process limited technical service metadata, such as the app and SDK version, device and operating-system type, network status, and delivery diagnostics needed to operate and secure the service. Detailed app interactions and crash reports are not collected until you opt in.
When enabled, Firebase Analytics may receive app interactions, feature outcomes, coarse count or date-range buckets, purchase entitlement status, device and app information, an app-instance identifier, and approximate location derived from network information. Firebase Crashlytics may receive crash traces, performance and diagnostic information, device and app state, and anonymous interaction breadcrumbs leading up to a crash.
The app does not send horse names, registered names, barn names, registration numbers, document titles or numbers, issuers, notes, photos, PDFs, filenames, exact issue, expiration, or travel dates entered by the user, email addresses, or a developer-assigned user ID. It does not use Firebase data for advertising, third-party advertising, or cross-app tracking.
Disabling sharing stops future detailed analytics collection, resets the local Analytics identifier, and removes unsent crash reports from the device. Data already transmitted is handled under Google’s privacy policy.
Coggins Binder has no user account, third-party authentication, or cloud database for horse records.
You can delete individual records in the app. Deleting the app removes its locally stored horse and document data from the device. Coggins Binder does not retain a server copy of those records.
